Severene

A very unique proprietary retarder and leveler designed for use in the dyeing of nylon and blends. Severeen has the unique property of retarding and leveling various dyes while permitting full color yield over time and temperature. In the dyeing of nylon, most retarders will not give full yield of the dyeing cycle. Severeen will increase the yield by 90-100%. The product allows a slower pickup on darker shades and will also permit the use of many fast acting dyes to obtain full contrast.

Useage:

Severeen should be prediluted with 2 parts warm to hot water before adding to the dye bath. Typical usage is 1-2% based on the weight of the fabric.
