Comprofix NF

ComprofixNF is a substantive non-formaldehyde resinous compound designed to fix direct dyes on cotton and rayon. The product is highly effective on textiles that have been dyed with direct, reactive, sulfur and azo dyes. In fact, Comprofix NF affects lightfastness to a lessor degree than commonly used fixitives. It can drastically reduce bleeding and crocking of direct colors, as well as increase the fastness properties. Comprofix NF can be applied by exhaustion or padding.

Application

Goods should be rinsed well before adding 1-2% of Comprofix NF to the last rinse. Treatment is conducted for 20 minutes at 100-110 degrees F and dried. If applying by padding, 1-3%. In combination with thermosetting resins, use 1.5 %.
