Carrier OMB

Carrier OMB is a dye carrier designed mainly for polyester yarns. The product can effectively reduce variations in affinity while promoting the leveling out capacity of the dyes. It should be used when the dyeing time is being reduced or when there is trouble with disperse dyes covering variations in the yarn.

Advantages are:

· No effect on lightfastness

· Won’t precipitate out

Application

After pH adjustment, add one part Carrier OMB to two parts warm water before adding to the dye bath. Generally 2 g/l is sufficient. After dyeing, follow with a hot rinse to remove trimer separations. The addition of .5 g/l Scour 100 to the afterclearing process will aid in removal of carrier residual as well as improve fastness properties.
